Wet Summer

Bob and Beth were enjoying a happy relationship. The month of June was a wet one and all too often Beth had to hide her sundress under her air-force blue cape. Bob had no objection as he felt she looked so charming in a cape. He loved it when her arms emerged to embrace him and to see her face framed so prettily under the hood. It always amused him that when the sun came out, she would lower the hood but keep the buttons fastened. It made him itch to get at her and this would happen at a secluded place where they would fall into each other's arms, the climax being Bob 'opening her up' and seeing her super sundress. He was only allowed a brief look before she did up the buttons and slid her arms out of sight.

One damp Saturday, Bob called for Beth in his MGB and they set off on the paddle steamer to Lundy Island. Beth had her cape on over a stunning dress and Bob had his pakamac. Beth told Bob she was keeping her cape on as the wind was a wet one. They had a lovely time on deck watching the changing scenery before descending to the saloon for lunch, when Bob saw her dress for the first time. They enjoyed wining and dining, before going on deck, just as they arrived at Lundy. The sun had started to shine so Beth could leave her cape undone. Bob did offer to carry it for her but she said she wanted it on. She looked lovely with her cape open so she could show off her dress. They wandered around, admiring the puffins before having a well earned drink at the pub. Soon it was time to return to the steamer whose paddle wheels were soon churning up the water. As it was chilly they spent their time in the saloon. At last they reached port and Beth did up the buttons before disembarking. They drove off to the Wellington Hotel for dinner with Beth stealing the show with her super dress. A gourmet meal rounded off the day with plenty of wine. Too soon it was time to go with Bob dropping Beth's cape onto her shoulders. She flashed him a smile as she did up the buttons before snuggling into the bucket seat. Then it was back to the flat and soon they were in each other's arms, with Beth enjoying the sensation of her cape being undone before being shed. The sofa and whisky beckoned and they enjoyed the night.....
