In first-class condition, the quality of the cloth making it a superior garment in its day.

I have to add, the ones we make today are much more substantial, with a heavier-weight lining, a waterproof interlining, wrist-tabs and so on. We have to charge £380 basic.

Still, this is an icon from the Golden age and as such will be of keen interest to the collector.

I'm putting it up for a client (not what we do really, but I really wanted to get my hands on an authentic mid-century Robert Hirst!). £250 plus postage.
