Canal Girl
The Lancaster and Kendal Canal follows the contours as it picks its way from Preston through Lancaster to the Lakes, the towpath an almost private world, if you need one, for walking and talking ... Engineer John Rennie meant the water to stay in the canal, but you should certainly go prepared. Shown here in glistening rubberised polyester (which has proved a winner since we introduced it in 1996 from Japan). - Alas, alas, now running out. The blue in the main picture has all gone. A lighter blue ('air-force blue') shown in the square, is still available.
