Locking Good

Dear Lorraine,

Thanks for publishing John's letter about meeting my sister in the recent site update. I didn't see what he sent, and he deleted the original after sending, so it wa all new to me - but it is as he said it was.

I can't believe in his first letter that he called Helen Ann - Ann is his cousin, and we rarely see her at all. He must be getting old! I have sent him to Helen's this morning in his wellingtons, waterproof trousers, balaclava, cagoule hooded and locked on, gaberdine trench coat locked on, and his cycle cape, which I have strapped him into, so he can't undo it without help from Helen. I've tightened the neckband as far as it will go, and the high collar which fits over his mouth has been strapped up as tightly as it goes as well, so he should be be well reminded when he gets there!

He will have to be helped out of his cape, and Helen has the keys to unlock him from his coat and cagoule, and she also has very strict instructions from me to make sure he is fully locked up and tightly buckled into his cape to return home. In the meantime, I am going shopping, with my trenchcoat locked on over my cagoule and hood, and the keys will be left at home. Why should my other half get all the pleasure?

Best wishes,

Judith
