Army-style cover-up

Dear Lorraine,

I have joined the student group wearing cover-up coats.

I bought my self a army-style parka coat in H & M. It's very long, it's padded and a dull green colour. The hood is fur-lined and has a snorkel that totally covers my face except for my eyes.

It has zip that goes over the top my head so I can un-zip it from the top. There are straps round the bottom of the snorkel to hold it up. The coat has draw strings at the waist and hem as well as the hood. It is very warm.

I wear army trousers and boots and leather gloves with my coat and never take it off. I wore it to the W.O. meeting at start of term. Thirty of us were there all dressed in heavy coats, parkas, dufflecoats, trenchcoats some with ski masks or silk scraves over their heads. Not a bit of flesh was to be seen.

You site was mentioned by A M, the chair of the group.

One girl had some German army rubber ponchos for sale and did a good trade. It was a very interesting meeting.
