Argyle Rubber Company

Some information provided by the Hidden Glasgow Forums (acccessed 28:07:08): In 1931 there was a branch in Jamaica Street, Glasgow. No other branches are listed in the PO Directory of that time. Circa 1960 The Company, or this branch, I assume) moved to Hurlet house in Nitshill. The contributor to the forum thinks it is still there.

Another pic - courtesy Then and Now (accessed 28:07:08)) - looking like a different branch - though said to be also of Jamaica Street. Maybe it is the same branch - ? No date.
