Background in cartoon work - eg Secret Agent X-9, Flash Gordon Jungle Jim, but later won awards for illustration work for magazines such as TV Guide.

David Apatoff's blog Illustration Art has several beautiful pictures of rainwear art by artists/illustrators Al Parker, Austin Briggs, and Robert Fawcett. In the comments to DA's posting there is also mention of Sangram Majumdar.
