Though first screened in 1956, the film was set in various periods, covering the biography of its subject, boxer Rocky Graciano [that's the name on the film, anyway]. We have to suppose that the trenchcoat worn by Rocky's girlfriend would have been on the streets of New York in the 1930s. |
