Lorraine asked me to say a word about this page. It shows some of the images very kindly contributed to the site anonymously some time ago. Many of the images in this large portfolio are finding their way into their natural places throughout the club premises, but Lorraine explains that she needs some way of recording the gift and saying thanks.

It's the sort of portfolio many enthusiasts will recognise. Drawing largely on the UK press, it catches most of the great classics and many of the minor ones, to which it adds a number of interesting items which will be new to many. Amongst these, for me, is the spectacular image that appears above, which somehow I have missed. Maybe there will be one of these glorious surprises for you, besides the warmth of icons already familiar.
