I could hardly breathe

Dear Lorraine,

I noticed a letterfrom Morag about wearing a gaberdine.

As well as my plastic mac, I had a navy blue gab which I recall I enjoyed wearing. I always buttoned it up to the top and pulled the belt so tightly I could hardly breathe!

Sometimes I put my plastic mac on first,then my gab. OK,it got warm, but come on, two raincoats!

Some of the girls at school looked really good in their fully buttoned up gaberdines. I thought they looked great!
