My First Girlfriend
Dear Lorraine,
I
well remember my first girl friend and love of my life (we were about 6) her
name was Ann and I used to meet her on the bus to school every day I was enchanted
by this very feminine young lady dressed in her "pudding basin"
hat and that wonderful hooded navy blue gaberdine raincoat which was the uniform
for girls at our school.
She looked wonderful on cold winter days when she had her wool scarf tied
over her mouth. She looked so cosy.
I was heart broken when she moved away from the area and joined another school.
