Dear Lorraine

Bluewater Revisited

I went to Bluewater with a boy and a girl friend. All three of us wore black hoodies with the hoods up and neck warmers/ski masks covering our mouths and noses so only our eyes could be seen.We went by train to Greenhithe and then on a bus.We got a few odd looks off other passengers but no more.

At Bluewater the securityman at the entrance said" Are you from the Sun? We've had few reporters coming here dressed like you, since we were in all the papers".He let us in.
We were followed round by guards in a couple of shops and asked to take our hoods down or leave in one clothes store. But mostly we were ignored.

There were only three off us and we were not causing havoc or pinching stuff. So we were left alone. The guards are really after large gangs of teenage boys who are a nuisiance there sometimes.

Wear your hood up!
