I recently found an M90 Swedish Parka in a shop in Newcastle. Like some of your other contributors I find I enjoy wearing it and do so all the time.

It's very concealing zipping up the hood all the way with the hood strings pulled fairly tight leaves you with a half inch horizontal slot to view the world through! It is long reaching down below my knees but not to warm, just comfortable and cozy!

It's green, very green indeed and distinctive so you're not really menacing even when you are totally hidden. I wear it on the Metro and in shops and all over the place with the hood up and have not stopped. I just love it.

I have seen three other people wearing them but not many.I saw some for sale in Camden Lock Market but they were not the same. They had a detachable hood and didn't work as well as the ones with fixed balaclava style hood.

The label on mine says it was made in 1990 for someone 190 cm tall. I hope the Swedish army is still using them. I am a convert for good so will want to buy another one eventually. In fact I will get some spares if I can.
