Brooklyn Mask Hoodies

May I wish you wonderful wet weather! Please keep up your good work, we do enjoy it.

Great meeting here of the Hoody Club. Several members turned up in Goggle Hoodies, along with more normal hoodies, parkas and long hooded rain coats. Lovely day absolutely pissing down.

Penny came up from London on the train not only wearing the Goggle Hoodie but with a Swedish hoodie over the top. I tried this but found it hard to breath as the outer hood stops air getting into the hood covering the face. But Penny managed OK and said she had little reaction to her appearence from people on the train.

Two girls had gorgeous jet black leather New York Brooklyn goggle Hoodies or Mask Hoodies as they called them. They are a very good price in the U.S. now with the dollar so weak against the pound. They said you see not only hip hop young kids wearing them there but all sorts of people. They look very exotic and are sexy to wear they said.

I'm afraid I found them a problem. The goggle lenses keep misting up! You can get anti mist spray so I am told. They do look a bit sinister and until the Hoody Club meeting I had not seen many worn on the street with the hood zipped up over the face. Lots have been sold as Christmas-presents for youngsters, so we will see.

The traditional chav look seems tame by comparison. But was out in force at the club and is becoming the uniform of youngsters in England on the streets and in uni. Any color hoodie being worn with the hood up over a baseball cap and neck warmer over the nose and mouth so the face and eyes are totally hidden. A second hoodie or parka with the hood up often being worn over that.

Look in a High Street if it rains and you will see two thirds of people wearing hoods of some sort. Marvellous!
