Don't get shot, get Schott

Hi Lorraine,

Found another interesting parka in Tk Maxx. A Schott New York extreme cold weather parka.

A nice jet black thick quilted jacket, very warm and bulky. The full length zip at the front is surrounded by knitted material that leads up a balaclava hood. The zip goes right up to the bridge of the nose and the upper edge of the face opening of the knitted balaclava down below the eyebrows. The hood is elasticy and a comfortable loose fit. Over the front zip the bulky jacket fastens with studs a highish collar fastening over the mouth over the knitted balaclava. Over this comes the thich bulky detachable hood kixed to the base of the collar with press studs and across the mouth and noose with the press studs. When the draw string adjuster is pulled moderately tight it totally encloses the balaclava hood.

The parka has elasticated wrists in its long sleeves and generous large pockets inside and out side. Very warm more suited to Anchorage than London. Probably favoured by New York Gangsta Wrappers but I loved it. The inner hood looks like a chainmail helmet that might be worn by a knight. It totally conceals the wearer. Makes me a five foot girl look sinister. They won't mess with me on the Custom House Estate!
