Inexplicable

I have vivid memories of my early school days and the childhood impressions gained from the women teachers I was influenced by.

The first was a middle-aged headmistress a single lady who always dressed in a long grey rubber mackintosh and on rainy days wore black shiny rubber wellingtons.   I shall call her Miss Miclewood..

In those days misbehaviour was usually punished with a cane - on the hand or bottom.

This duty was nearly always carried out by Miss Miclewood - in her office, or sometimes in front of the class if there was repetetive misconduct.   At these times, on every occasion, she would inexplicably have on her mackintosh.   And she would have the miscreant child, usually a boy, drop his pants and bend over a cushion.

In my case - as a chronic offender - she would occasionally have me don what she called the punishment mackintosh:  a long red rubber mackintosh she kept hanging on a hangar on her office door.   Then she had me drop my pants before administering the strokes...

There were several boys as well as me who were receiving six of the best in this fashion at least weekly and it became obvious that we as a group were stimulated by it, even at the young age of ten.   We would often come back from her office with signs of arousal - to the amusement of the class.

This association of rubber mackintoshes, punishment and early humiliation turns out to be fairly prevalent in later experiences with women teachers of that period and extended into later years...

I can expound further if desired...

Thanks for everything Lorraine

Retbrit

We do desire, Retbrit,  very much so.    That's the trouble with saying something really really interesting!   I'm afraid you must tell us more.

And there's me so slow putting this up.    Maybe it will have to be that red mackintosh for me...
