Dear Lorraine,
Reading through your letters, I find a man saying he doesn't understand women being attracted to and turned on by coats and hoods.
But women's feelings are much the same as mens. We are 99% the same genes and make up.
Women today have escaped our grandmothers' chains to the kitchen sink. Women consume adult books as do men. Perhaps they are gentler than some men's violent pornography, but such books enjoy a large currency amongst educated self-confident women.
Why should not women enjoy wearing the large hooded coats currently in fashion? Indeed they do enjoy wearing such coats as can be seen in any town centre shopping area in England.
I enjoy wearing a snorkel hooded parka, hoody hooded tops and I have a Bench coat with a big face covering flap as described by your readers. I am just an ordinary partime mature student with a family.
I enjoy wearing hoods done up tight and do so. It's warm and sexy. It's harmless fun!
