Hi there, I really love and I mean love your website I think it is great. I really do believe in all the things you do. I found this great and wonderful site by accident. I put snorkel parka hoods into a search engine and it came up with your perfect one.
Can I say how much I love to fantasise and dream about snorkel parkas and how big they are for me. It all started when I was 5 and started school. I'm 22 now and as you can work out in 1986 I started school. For my first day my mum had bought me a green snorkel parka (with orange lining) with a big thick long deep grey fur hood on it with black fur inside. My mum zipped me up fully in it and lifted the big thick hood up and over my face and head. She made me walk to school zipped up fully like that every day so I wouldn't catch a cold.
At first I found it really scary it was hot inside and I felt really claustrophobic inside there. But by the age of 10 when I had my second snorkel parka, which was dark navy blue with the orange lining, I would wear it every single day - to such a point where after school I would take it up to my room and when I went to bed at night I would strip down and put it on and zip it up fully. I would pull the hood and really buckled tight and I would love the feeling of fur all round me.
Of course I sadly grew out of it and right now I am at Uni studying fashion and art and media and I have this lovely fur hooded thickly padded Bench coat that my mum and dad bought me for Christmas. it is dark blue with a big fur hood you can pull really tight and better yet it has a big Velcro flap with BENCH written across it that I pull really tight across my face that covers the whole of the bottom half of my face so you can only see my eyes. I spend all day like this. No one minds - a few think I am a bit potty but that's it. I have a lovely big breakfast first thing then that's it I don't need to eat for the rest of the day. I even wear my Bench coat to bed.
What I would really love most of all though is a lovely old school style snorkel parka. The ones in the shop now are just cheap rubbish copies unless you can suggest shops that might sell them.
A few other girls at Uni have parkas but though they have the hoods up they don't have them zipped up or tightened up fully.
You see these big thick deep snorkel fur hoods with these big zip lines that go right up to eye level and girls never ever do them up fully. I just want to be able to run over to them and zip them up fully. Any ideas how I can persuade the other girls to wear their fur hoods up fully?
I really believe everything you do and believe in much more power for women and women should be able to zip their fur hoods up fully so they cant be recognised without men giving them funny looks.
I love snorkel hoods just so much! I do. I really do! I love the fur, the warmth, the depth, the fact that no one can recognise you when you are zipped up fully.
My roommate has a new snorkel parka from Top Shop in black with orange lining and she let me borrow it the other day when my Bench coat was in the Uni wash (some brat spilt beer down it the night before) and I wore it all day zipped up fully with the hood up. No one could see me or tell who I was and when I looked at myself in the mirror I looked like a female version of Kenny from South Park.
Keep up all the good and great work. I love reading the rain wear letters from other uni girl students the one called Sam who has a snorkel parka and her mate that also has one and wears hoods up fully all the time and the one by Ann who like me also has a thickly padded Bench coat with the big Velcro flap that goes right across the whole of the face.
Do you have any other letters or info on snorkel parkas? I would love to read them. Keep up the great and amazing work. I love all you are doing and I give your website 100/10, I love it. All girls should be free to wear their winter coats with the hoods up fully and tightly whenever they want to.

Thanks for your new letter. You've got me wanting to make one of those 'old school style snorkel parkas' now! But the price would be colossal so I'll stop and think of England... It wasn't parkas when I was at school (think navy gabs!) Can you tell me any details? I don't know what's authentic and what's rubbish.
So glad you like the site! It's only interesting because people like you take the trouble to write in.
