Let me say I enjoyed reading your letters site.
I always wear hooded coats when out. My friend, (I live with a girl who I love) is very jealous and a control freak but I love to do as she says. She insists I wear long coats with the hood up whenever I go out.
She has bought me several coats.I have a long black padded coat from H & M that reaches below my knees.It has a fur lined hem and hood. A long zip reaches from top to bottom.
When the hood is done up there is a narrow opening that forms a three=inch long tunnel. This is held up and shut by straps. I find this very exciting.
She also bought me a large padded coat by Bench. This reaches my ankles and has a large hood closed by a large velco flap that covers the lower half of my face. This coat I have worn every day for the last two months, including in university in lectures and tutorials. People think I'm potty but I don't care. It's very warm and cozy, like having my lover with me all the time.

The more interesting a letter the more questions I want to ask! Like how your partner feels about those coats she buys you and whether she wears the same kind and why exactly she insists on you wearing them ...
And for you, I wonder, is it a bit like creeping into a dark cupboard? Some people like doing that, and I wonder if you could imagine your being all buttoned and hooded up as at all similar?
Does the mouth flap make it really difficult to talk in the seminars??!

Thankyou for your letter.
My friend wears motocycle leathers and rides large motorbike. If she wears a coat it is leather trenchcoat and leather gloves.
She insists I have my head shaved and keep myself covered only for her to see. When i wear my Bench coat I can still talk.
Some people in uni did think I was odd but there are now a group of us who keep ourselves covered up. Some lesbians like myself and some for religious reasons and some just because they like it.Why should we have to display ourselves to men ?
The more people who go about fully covered the less comment there will be about.
Today I am wearing an nb 3 parka with a deep snorkel hood done up tightly and a near ankle length Dannimac hooded raincoat over. The hood of the Dannimac fits neatly round the snorkel hood. I have good breakfast so do not need to eat until night. My friend has put sealing wax on the parka and coat drawstings so I cannot remove them.
